Finally got my belated Xmas gift! Yippee! waited quite long for it though cos DHL got mixed up somewhere. nonetheless, thanks xx for the ipad!!

This new year is going to be a busy year for me, at least for the first half of the year. Going to do attachment and taking evening module at the same time. not forgetting there are 3 tuition lessons each week, plus chingay (only till feb, thank god)! well, i am happy tt there is a break frm studies. hopefully, this period will be very fulfilling. the second half of the yr will be into my final undergraduate year alr. YEAR 4 = FYP!! honestly, im not thinking abt it at all unlike some of my peers. quite numb to studies alr cos it seems everything is fated. no matter how much (or how little) effort i put in, the result is still the same. i dunno if i shld be happy tt at least there is no 'de-provement'. yet, there is neither improvement to the lousy result=((( oh well, enuf of results...

unlike previous years, im not gonna make any new resolutions cos i forgot most of them aft i typed them and even if i rmb, they are not achieved, haha. just hope tt once again, everyone will be happy doing wad they want to do and live their lives to the fullest, not forgetting to stay healthy! as i alw like to say, dun do things u wld regret! =)

SOUTH KOREA -
SEOUL + JEJU ISLAND 8D6N

I'm back frm my trip. time really flies when u r having fun:/ as usual, i'll be penning down what i hv done to keep these memories(:

DAY 1/2
Airport - Everland theme park - Argoland - Deoksan Spa Castle

flight was at 1.30am. reached seoul at about 8.30am Korean time. temp wasnt that bad. ard 5degC. the first stop was Everland theme park, one of the biggest theme park in Korea. it was REALLY huge! as usual, theme park is a place for thrilling rides. but my family wasnt very keen on it except for me and my bro=( and the time allocated is too short. so we only managed to catch the not-so-exciting rides like 3D movies etc. so wanting to do the wooden roller coasters and the others=( well, at least in the end, we managed to get my sis to catch on her 1st roller coaster ride!! haha..

subsequently, we went to Argoland to do some cow feeding and ice-cream making!!! as its winter, there arent any crops for us to view. anw ice-cream making was fun=) we chose to make chocolate ice-cream n it tasted super nice - fresh and not so heavy ^^ my bro gives the best expression of how the ice-cream taste like=p

the last stop of the day aft dinner was deoksan spa castle. cos it is alr night time, the temp outdoor is freezing cold, and so all the outdoor facilities r closed. we only got to use the indoor facilities. it is great to be soaking urself in the jacuzzi, letting the water splashed onto u=) not to mention, the resort at the spa castle is great. 2 bedrooms with a small kitchen. so cosy^^

surprisingly, the food wasnt bad. had initially thot that korean food wun really suit our tastebuds. but it turns out ok=)

DAY 3
Yongpyong Dragon Valley

first time skiing on snow. not snow in snow city, but real snow! woah, the snow was really beautiful. and skiing was really hard. n i guess i hv threw my face totally. fell down for umpteen times but there r often nice ppl ard to help. thanks alot to them. if not, i guess i will be stranded there waiting for the snowmobile to rescue me, haha. the ski equipments are really heavy and difficult to put on. so most of the time i am figuring out how to use them. could only say im hopeless in sports=( my dad n bro did pretty well. my sis n mum, on the other hand, gave up aft a few attempts cos it was getting cold. the sensation while i ski down was just too great tt i refused to give up despite repeated failures. will definitely want try skiing again!!!!

the resort tdy was the best! in fact, one of the best accommodations i had in all the countries i stayed so far. it is likened to a 3 room flat. so spacious!!! my family decided to do some shopping in the convenience store n prepare our own dinner so as not to put the nice kitchen to waste. hehes=p

so the long awaited dinner....

Day 4
Sinchon Fashion Alley - Jeju Island - Nanta Show

the first half of the day was spent in seoul before flying off to jeju. Sinchon street reminds me of bugis street. just tt it is less crowded. clothes, shoes, bags were relatively cheap but doesnt vary much frm shop to shop. the lunch, on the other hand, is good! we got korean BBQ=)

subsequently, we flew off to jeju for sightseeing at the yongduam dragon rock and mysterious road. the rock seriously dun look like a dragon. my bro said it looks more like a dog. LOL!!!

Nanta show is the main highlight of the day. seriously LOVE the show!! want watch it again! it was REALLY entertaining and i was practically laughing my head off the whole show. everyone on stage is great (including audience). make me want to catch another korean show - JUMP. i think it will be equally entertaining.

Day 5
Jeju Island

was the most hectic day as we hv to visit 8 places of interest! early in the morning, we climbed all the way up the 400++ stairs to Seongsan Sunrise Peak to observe the island that was created entirely frm volcanic eruptions. the scenery wasnt very breathtaking, as warned by our tour guide earlier on :/

next up was horse-riding, or rather pony riding for me! haha... though we didnt really get to gallop ard the field with the horses, it is still a nice exp. my pony was a bit lazy or is it cos im too heavy for her? haha. she refused to walk and had the trainer to drag her along=(

lunch today was AWESOME!! haha.. though it is again, korean BBQ, the side dishes were good. at least they were all my fav^^ hehes.

next half of the day was just visiting various museums. first is the trick art museum. had so much fun playing with the paintings. n i love this the most! CLASSIC;p

chocolate museum and glass castle was just so-so. in fact, glass castle reminds me of my ceramic mod so much as they introduced the processing methods on glass. haha!

my fav was the teddy bear museum=) however, it wasnt the one that was featured in the princess hr. this is a newly opened museum with a safari theme. a small disappointment, but the teddy bears were nonetheless so adorable!! i wish to just carry all of them home, hehes.

for dinner, we had abalone hotpot with ramen (in korea, it is just instant noodles, haha). was supposedly to go shopping in the TopDong Street. But the wind was seriously too chilling that my family decided to just visit their hypermarket. good for us too as we r able to go back earlier to our room to catch our korean variety shows, haha. had been watching invincible youth and latest 2D1N. though w/o eng sub, i can sort of understand through their body languages. haha..

Day 6
Lotteworld Adverture Park

caught an early flight back to seoul and spent the entire day in lotteworld adventure park. the theme park is huge as it consists of an indoor and outdoor component. it looks more modern than everland. yet the crowd was overwhelming! it was a friday n my bro was wondering dun these teenagers have to study??? haha. so due to the crowd, we spent almost 15-30mins waiting for our turn to take rides. super time-consuming. wad pissed me even more was that the local teenagers were practically just cutting queues! :@ still, my bro and I caught the best ride in our life - GryoDrop.

it is a vertical free fall ride from about 13 storeys high. my first free fall ride is in LA and it is really exciting enuf for me. this time round, it was EVEN BETTER! the entire ride took about 10 sec going up and 2 sec coming down. SHIOK!!!!!! i rmb myself screaming out 'oh my god' at the instant i fell. then i felt i was choking and almost dying before the ride was completed. seriously, one shld take it to know wad im saying. the feeling is beyond description! and now im more certain im going to try those free fall bungee jumping one day^^ hehes. aft doing this ride, every other ride seems so easy, haha. yet, i didnt manage to catch the 360deg roller coaster featuring in one of the Running Men episodes=( the queue was too long but i so badly want to do that!! haiz...

Day 7
Seoul

coldest day in seoul. -11degC. but thankfully, there wasnt wind so in fact, i dun feel that cold. went to those boring showrooms except for the one in Nature Republic. good thing that the people in the showrooms arent as pushy as those in china and taiwan. so not tt bad. Putting aside how cheap the different facial products and make up can be, had the most fun when they gave us a free facial session=) and u can know y the session is so fun frm the pictures.. HAHA!

it is my bro n dad first time putting on masks, haha. n bcos of the cheap prices, we bought this much of masks home.

now im regretting we didnt buy more of their other products too:( we also went to make kimchi, tried on traditional korean hanbok and do our own ice sculpture in ice gallery!

could only say i failed ultimately in art n craft, haha. wanted to make a mug, yet i broke the handle. so changed plan to make a wineglass, yet i broke the base. so lastly, i just had to do a teacup that is so distorted in shape! haha.

aft the nice dinner which is bibimbap, last stop of the day is dongdaemun!!!! first, i must say i hv grown to love bibimbap! delicious and healthy, haha.

okk, back to dongdaemun. it is supposedly a place to source for cheap stuff. indeed, things r cheap if u only know how to bargain. putting aside how crowded the place is (given that seoul is smaller in size than spore yet larger population), the competition btwn vendors is very fierce for they sell similar items. as advised by many, do not rush into buying. the items are mostly not price marked. dun be shocked when u r quoted SGD$50 for just a plain shirt. cos this is how ppl do biz there. they jacked up their prices dunno how many times. if u blur blur dun ask for discount, u will seriously lose out. even if ask for discount, they will keep bargaining with u. end up, u spent a few min just on a piece of clothes. it gets rather irritating and tiring. of cos, not to mention time wasting. haiz, just so preferred to shop in USA where everything is nett priced and yet cheap!!! so in the end, i only managed to both 2 tops=( plus cos it is the winter season, most clothings arent suitable for spore weather... oh well=(

Day 8
Myongdong Fashion Street

preferred this place over Dongdaemun though it doesnt sell much of korean brands. saw many similar brands in spore like H&M. it reminds me of Orchard, just tt it is perhaps a little cheaper due to the year end sales.

also, the place wasnt very crowded. n u dun hv to bargain for ur stuff. how much i hate bargaining! :S the only thing is we dun hv sufficient time cos gotta catch flight home. didnt manage to visit the SM merchandise store cos we sort of lose our way in such a big area!! *sobs* my super junior.... haiz. well, the only consolation for the day is the nice international buffet lunch. haha, food never fail to brighten up my day =)

reached the airport at ard 4pm to check in for our flight at 6.35pm. i knew we reached early. yet, we only managed to check in at 5pm. 5PM!! all thanks to other fellow singaporeans who are like doing immigration =.= i wun say frm which tour agency they r but seriously, countless boxes of kimchi, honeydew milk, ginseng, pots (yes, cooking pots and pans. wth), comestics etc.. they seemed to have bought years of supplies. n of cos all these will lead to excessive baggage. then jolly well just pay for the excessive baggage rite? since u hv so much $$ to buy those stuff, dun tell me u dun hv $$ to pay for the overweight baggage. yet, they went on repacking their luggages. WTF!!!! n in the meantime still make a din in the airport. seriously disgusting and irritating :@

HOME SWEET HOME only at around 1am though our flight landed at ard 12am. cos we spent more than 30mins waiting for our baggage. ridiculous like mad. n i felt so sry that my uncle and xx hv to wait so long for us =( thanks guys anyway!

this trip was fun yet tiring. cos we barely hv 5-6hrs of sleep everyday. i must admit it is partly our fault cos we stayed up late at night to catch korean shows, haha. temp was cold too. in seoul, the temp was never positive before! haha... in jeju, it was much better yet cos of the wind, it is much chilling than the measured temp. besides, i got to see snow in Jeju. SNOW!! haha.. the accommodations are more than satisfactory this time round except the one in Jeju. but well, jeju is a rural area so cant expect much. food is much better than i expected. n i didnt know korean side dishes can be really fascinating. love the ikan bills and seaweed the most as they r well seasoned. the tour guide and tour leader were good and for the former esp, very knowledge! one thing i dun like is that they hv this photographer attached to each tour grp. then at the end of the trip, the photographer will sell u the photos he/she took during the entire trip. the photos r likened to exhortation. haha... super expensive. it isnt compulsory for u to buy but anyone will feel to actually buy it rite? if not, it sort of look bad on u=( this time round didnt really get to interact with the other tour mates. pity...

overall, i love this trip. maybe im a little biased cos i love kpop. haha.. but im really excited everytime i got to see the actual things that are being introduced in shows like 2D1N and Running Man, n even the movie, Hello Stranger. hopefully will be back there again, doing free and easy. if possible, visit KBS to see my idols, haha!!

it has been so long since i last blogged. rmb that i said i wanted to blog something heavy.. well, i sort of lose the urge.

it was about a funeral i attended. about months ago, i still said i was lucky i didnt have to experience the grief of losing a loved one. though i didnt exactly lose someone very dear to me, my cousin lost her beloved uncle due to liver cancer. her dad was a brave soldier, fighting against the disease alone as he didnt want to worry his family members. in my memory, he is a very loving father who cared very much about his only daughter and wife. even though my cousin and aunt used to say it is very 'annoying' that he kept calling to know their whereabouts or asking have they had their meals, they knew my uncle did it out of concern. and within weeks after his second chemo, his condition deteriorated. when i saw him in the hospital, i got a shock. the man i used to see walking around coffeeshop, drinking his kopi, was lying there, so thin so weak. he cant even talk and could only groan in pain. it was then i truly realise that life is unpredictable (no matter how cliche it is). his funeral was a simple one. although it wasn't necessary, my sis and I decided to help out in the funeral wake. it was then i see the true face of some ppl. i wun specifically state wad it was but it was just disheartening. empathy is wad we shld have, not apathy. esp if the person is ur closed relative. when my uncle was cremated, i dunno y but i broke down just like other ppl who were present. but i will never be able to understand the grief my cousin n aunt had.

enuf of such heavy emotional stuff..

holiday is here. this time round, finals wasnt difficult which actually made things worst. well, academic life is as such. no point harping and thinking too much abt them=)

days after finals were rather busy too! haha... went out almost everyday which is equivalent to a big hole in my pocket=((( but im happy tt im spending more time with my coursemates. even went singing k with them. still, im going attachment next sem and many of them will be out for either exchange or attachment too. so it will be like year 4 when we meet again.

YEAR 4!!! OMG. it means GRADUATION! AHAHAHAH... NOOOOOOO!!!!! (haha, so hysterical)

by then, many will be working or further their studies. i sort of have a plan in mind alr. n certainly, i hope everything will go according to my plan=) for those who are still confused abt ur future, i guess it wun hurt to actually spend some time thinking abt that. it is really better to have a goal, or at least, a plan in mind=)

happy birthday maknae! haha... had great fun again with the girls. esp since we wun be able to see each other till next year thanks to mayyee! ;p everyone has finally turned 21, a significant milestone in our life. from here, i sincerely hope we will be able to spend another 21 years, perhaps together with all our husband and kids by then:) haha..

potato will be leaving my hse tomorrow.

1.5 years alr. from 7 months to 2 years old. from crawling to walking to running. frm crying to gibberish to talking human language (hahas).
it is a lie if i said i wun miss u. though i often complain how noisy u are, how naughty u are, how irritating u are, how much i prefer sarah over u... i will miss ur cries, ur antics, n esp u calling me 'jiejie'.
during this exam period, i kept complaining how irritating u r to my friends cos u kept crying and throwing tantrums over the most trivial matters. but i wun also not forget how u relieve my stress. everytime when im bored with studying, i will come to u, play and tease u. n u never fail to entertain me. hahas... so even after u leave us, i still hope u will rmb to shout 'jiejie' when u see me on streets next time.

Finally, end of internship^^ and start of school term=( LOL.

This summer holiday, i guess, is slightly better than last year. although i had less time for myself, i felt it is more enriching. quality time was spent with friends and got to work with nice colleagues. even family gathering wasn't just about buffets. we met up fortnightly to play badminton(: All in all, i had a rather enjoyable holiday. which somehow make me recharged and ready for school. not that i'm going to chiong for my studies. instead i may be look into doing external stuff besides school work. but well, whether i really achieve that it is another matter. i may end up procrastinating as usual;p

know this is kinda late...
had my birthday celebration with my close friends (sec and jc). was contemplating of getting my uni frens but they are quite big a grp. plus close with some only, so-so with others... so yup, sorta just like the small simple celebration(:

That day didn't really go as planned. but still, thanks for everyone, for the presence and the presents!!;) (no pun intended)

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY to me!

and of cos to my other friends Seokwei and Szesian (which is super duper advanced, haha). well, i dun hv the photos with me now plus most r on fb already. enjoyed both their parties and hopefully they enjoyed it too!!! ><

time is really fast. was still thinking there are months before i(we) turn 21. yet, now i(we) are indeed 21years xx days. HAHA!

As I mentioned in my previous posts, i had wanting to do baking. i think i tried quite a number of times making cupcakes as well as cookies. so far, not bad except for 1 failure=( still, i'm getting the hang of it. and can even memorize the basic steps of baking.

malted cookies with chocolate chips. one of my family favourites (: although the looks of it is the worst, haha. going to try again to improve the looks of it.

baking is really fun though it can be quite tiring esp without the appropriate equipment. i had only a tablespoon and bowl to do all the mixing:( so it is like hand-pain after every baking session, haha... but definitely, i'll keep on doing it and improvising!

went to Johor for a day with szesian they all. things there were really cheaper. think i spent like S$15 in total that day. though there isn't really much to do.. i greatly enjoyed the company and time spent just chatting and laughing at starbucks:) maybe we can do that again at the newly 24hrs starbucks at NUS Utown, haha!! though kinmun shld avoid coffee as much as possible;p

soon after the new minister for MOE came into office, many have wrote letters to him to review our local education system. one that caught most eyes will be the one by Janelle, a sec4 student from nan hua. i read her letter, together with other similar letters as well. being part of the education system for so many years, i shared the same sentiments as most of the writers.
to me, local education system is sorta promoting elitism, evidently shown in GEP, IP and the ranking of schools. to me, that is redundant. and that's y u always see parents pulling their hair during the pri 1 registration. within the sch itself, students are streamed based on their academic performance. students are like products of an assembly line. trained and drilled to do well in science and maths and little regards to humanities and arts. this is so as science and maths can be mastered by constant practicing and regurgitating what u had memorized. arts and humanities, however, require flair in language and a think-out-of-the-box mind. teachers often robbed students' music, arts, moral education lessons in exchange for the examinable subjects. our mother tongue took the backseat as English is found to be more useful. even when mother tongue is encouraged, it is because China is a rising economy. students are also encouraged to take up cca which can give them the most points, the most chance to become a leader etc. our education system is just too practical, doing everything with a motive. we didnt really learn, we just memorize to do well in exams. we didnt really enjoy, we just participate cos the school say it is compulsory. it seems students are not given much of a choice. we just do things cos it is a social norm, what is expected of us from our parents, our country.
the long paragraph above is what i USED to think, that our system is extremely flawed and biased. But after going through the system myself, it isn't really that bad afterall as what is written in most of the letters. there are many education systems all over the world and none is perfect. what doesn't suit u in spore, doesn't mean it wun suit others. for instance, i asked myself wad if i had been put in a US type of education system where creativity is vital, where class participation is essential. no, i wun really like that. in jc, contrasting subject are made compulsory so as to expose students to the arts and humanities. yet, students complained it is unnecessary and they dislike it. so is the education system supposed to promote arts and humanities or...? other than the govt, parents shld also play a huge role in education. since young, many hv inculcated their kids which is the 'correct' path they shld take. by insisting to send their kids to good primary school and sending their kids to numerous tuition, what is the message parents are conveying to their kids? it is convenient to blame everything to the education system, to the govt. yet, isn't it also due to the pride in parents that causes this?? students can jolly enjoy their school life doing things they like. but more often than not, parents came in to tell their kids wad are the do and don't.
there are other choices. it is just up to you whether u want to take an alternative instead. so dun just conveniently blame it on the govt.

oh well, it is a long post. but since i'm here, must as well just finish it before i lack the urge to...haha

i believe many have seen or heard the news of this PRC doing a video criticizing singaporeans. in the end, he was expelled frm sch and fled back to China. many applaud the sch decision to expel him while others think singaporeans are over-reacting and that this is just a joke. by not forgiving him, we look petty. personally, i agree with the sch decision. wad he did was wrong n he deserved to be punished. some argued that there are many others who did similar things too. yup, but it doesn't mean that if others aren't punished, he shouldn't be punished. just like there are many offenders in the world, some are sentenced while some not. admittedly, he is really plain suay. perhaps if he isn't a PRC, things wun be that bad; perhaps if he doesn't put that disgusting make up, he wun get blasted by ppl etc.. but it is exactly bcos of his identity that he should be more careful and sensitive.
i often wonder that wad if it is a singaporean studying in China who is doing a similar video which insults PRC. certainly he will be criticised by netizens and the public. but wad will the PRC do? will they just expel him? or will they stir up more sh** against the person? it again brought me back to the incident where the Thai girl fell into the MRT track and unfortunately had both her legs amputated. putting aside that it is indeed a tragedy and that i really felt sorry and sympathetic to the victim. is it reasonable for the victim family to demand compensation frm the smrt?? it is shown that she fell down the track herself. n smrt had alr paid her $5000 out of goodwill. is it thus, still justifiable that her family decides to sue the company? (though i guess in the end they didnt..) throughout that period of time many singaporeans expressed their views that smrt shld do more for the family etc. but look at another perspective. if a singaporean fell into a subway track in Thai, do we get compensation??
it is smt disheartening to see that singaporeans are often very critical of their own country but forgiving towards others. not that this is wrong. just not double standard pls. like entertainment as well. foreign shows/movies are often better. n even if mediacorp produces similar shows/movies, they are often put down to no worth. just felt that singaporeans shld hv been more supporting of their own country. hopefully, a little of the national identity could be restored with National Day:)

Pardon me if this post is just nothing but celebrities. i am watching k-dramas while blogging ^^ so it is sort of impromptu.

My girlfriend is a gumiho

it is not a very popular idol drama as compared to like secret garden. and y i watched it in the place is cos of lee seunggi:)

was very bored during work, so decided to search for some korean stuff. since i have been watching 2D1N and seunggi is one of my fav members, i decide to google abt him and tadah! i end up watching the drama. LOL. also he sang the main theme song for this show. kawaii-neh.

anw if upon closer look, i find resemblance between him and xiaogui.

this is the poster in my room. so whenever i look at it, it is as if im looking at seunggi and xiaogui. both their dimples just make me melt... haha (sry for being so hua chi)

okk, back to the drama. have been watching it at work and after work. haha... within 3 days, i have alr finished half of the drama. one of my fastest record=) below is another photo of seunggi, with the female lead shin min ah. surprisingly, i grew fond of her character as i watched the drama. she is really pretty and cute, and natural. haha... cos to me, it is not easy to find a korean star that look natural.

another variety show not to be missed beside 2D1N is of cos running man. honestly, i didnt really watch that as frequent as 2D1N partly bcos the airtime wasnt very good. usually catch it while my sis is watching it. besides the national mc Jaesuk, my fav member is Kim Jong Kook aka Sparta. i didnt expect him to be a singer in the first place, and somemore, a very popular and successful singer in Korea. A definitely must listen and watch mv is 'sarang surowo'. so different frm what he appears to be. n it is also y im gradually falling love with him..HAHA.

seriously want go korea now!!! have been psycho-ing my parents to go seoul this dec. hopefully i can succeed^^ sry for posting such a startstruck post. will be back soon for a proper post with perhaps more current issues=) just have to find that urge, haha.

EVENTFUL WEEK ^^

As usual, the past wk has been superbly busy and hectic, which is a good thing i guess. Many things happened, though they are rather trivial=) so i shall start this post on a happy note.

Universal Studios Singapore - USSYAY!! Finally went to USS on sat (11/06) with xx (and his family) cos there was an extra ticket. well, the trip wasn't disappointing nor exciting. i guess the trip will be better if it wasn't raining that day and most importantly, if i hadn't been to the one in LA. most of the attractions are replica of the one in LA so i sorta expected what's coming up. and USS is much smaller despite having more rides and stuff. but the things there weren't as expensive as the one in LA so yup, on the whole, the trip is still GREAT XD took quite a number of pictures but they weren't with me:( n i manage to pull xx to take some rides with me even though he isn't in favor of roller coasters, haha. but the queue for the rides were freaking long!!! like 2 hrs for 1 ride=( will be better if we came on a weekday... we finish touring the entire USS by ard 6.30pm but the fireworks show was at 9pm. so we went on to the nearby (wasn't very near actually=.=) Merlion Park and Siloso Beach for a walk. the entire day finally ended with the spectacular fireworks show. though very tiring, i truly enjoyed myself. thanks xx for everything that day=)

and bcos of this trip to USS, plus other factors, i withdraw from the NDP volunteer project:( felt kinda bad cos this led to my fren to withdraw with me too... hopefully nxt time we can join it again!

IT Show

i rmb myself saying i wun go for IT show again unless i need to buy sth. but bcos of xx persuasion, i just went for the recent one. right aft a day at USS somemore. super tiring la, haha! this time round, the fair was much much much more crowded than the previous one. perhaps cos it was the last day. was totally being pushed around. seriously disliked it >:o cant everyone just not push n rush?? anw aft much squeezing around, we bought a thumbdrive, earphone and a camera (seen above) at a relatively cheap price. the camera is my 21st birthday present!! yeah=D thanks again xx! though im nt a camwhore person, it is still nice to hv a personal camera:) and it is in red! just realise i hv so many things in red currently - my wallet n my hp pouch. maybe u can call me little red riding hood next time ;) LOL

had a long chat over the phone ytd with sw. had a long chat with my siblings days ago. love chatting though we may at times just talk nonsense or just mundane stuff... 但就因为有这样的谈话让我感到很幸福。因为这代表我有对象可以和我分享喜怒哀乐。因为这代表我有许多美好的回忆可让我回味无穷。my bro is in secondary sch now n i alw remind him to treasure the time. 4 years aren't too short nor long but it is when we made true frens. 或许因为在中学的过程中我们有很大的变化。光看照片就可看出中一到中四的不同 - 从原本的天真幼稚的小孩到半成熟的小大人。同学之间见证了彼此的蜕变，知道彼此的优缺点，感情自然也更密切。像当我听我弟弟在谈到他现在学校里发生的点点滴滴，我不禁也回忆起我中学的时候。十几岁的学生成天就是抄功课，聊八卦，乱传班里的绯闻，讲老师的坏话等。而对我来说，在我中学的生涯里，除了好朋友以外，不得不提那班感情到现在还好得不得了的男生。虽然我那班中学的男同学似乎还是一样的幼稚，但他们多了个绅士的风范。like wad sw says, they are really a bunch of nice ppl. they can just bond tgt them, hv outings themselves... yet, they will alw try their best to include the girls in class chalets and birthday parties. and w/o fail, when we girls are leaving from chalets late at night, they will escort us to the bus stops or waiting areas. deeply appreciate their efforts. and it is thanks to them that the class is still rather bonded tgt=D

sudden twist of the post. well, this was partly inspired by a friend who just lost her granny. 记得我一生去过两次的葬礼，一个是我似乎从来没见过的阿姨，另一个是我印象很模糊的外公。而那时候我才primary 1/2. 说真的，我当时候并不知道死是怎么一回事。很惭愧，那时的我竟然觉得葬礼很好玩，因为可以不用上课且还可以和表兄弟姐妹聚在一起。直到现在我还真的不知道死是怎么一回事。也许你可以说我幸运，因为我暂时不须和我在乎的人永别。但如果那个时候到来的话，怎么办？我会一把鼻涕一把眼泪，还是默不出声，还是一时无法接受而作出傻事呢？或者说，如果是我死呢？我会希望我的亲朋好友为我感到难过吗？我曾幻想如果我死了，我想看看我周围的人，他们是否会为我的死感到哀伤还是恨不得赶快开香槟庆祝... 我只能说, i am not ready to die yet nor ready to accept death.

oh well, the post started happily but ended otherwise... i guess this is wad life is. ups and downs. laughter and cries. boredom and eventful. a smooth sailing life will not be fulfilling. yet certainly, a rocky life is too much for me as well, haha... will like a balance of both;) anyways, im starting to learn very basic korean after sw intro me the website. started on vowels only=( hopefully i hv the determination to learn it!!^^

MEDIA

Disclaimer: This is not a GP essay so I will not go on to define terms. What I'm saying is just my personal opinion. I do not own the pictures, just adapted them from some random websites.

As you know, media reveals truth to us, it also hides truth from us. in some cases, they twists the truth.. no longer were the days where reporters, TV makers etc were truthfully reporting every pieces of news and information. now, they select news that interest readers, that can increase their ratings, that aid them to rake in advertisment. juicy news were favoured. i don't deny i read these tabloids, evidently seen when i always flip to the entertainment section in the newspapers. nonetheless, i do kp in mind that these articles aren't not factual, totally. this is esp so aft someone i know of appear in the news and the story is completely twisted. it may not be of any big deal since it is a small piece of news. ok, maybe not since it occupy the headline n 1 whole page of the newspaper. but wad abt the protagonists??? do the reporters know their false reports can affect the ppl involved negatively? to me, it is totally unethical to do such things.

when i was young, i rmb myself admiring those reporters for being the watchdogs of the public. yet when i mature, i start to respect less for their professionalism. certainly, i wun deny that the media has done alot for the public. if not for them, we wun get known of the NKF scandal, those poisonous food in China, the ugly side of the showbiz, the different natural disasters ard the world etc... but how much truth is there in their reports? n it is sort of irritating they sometimes run days and days of headlines without anything constructive. it was just juicy news, exaggerated and unnecessary. like i rmb years ago abt some murder cases. a murder case n they can just run it for weeks. n the content of the news is seriously crap. below are just some examples of tabloids news. real or not, exaggerated or not its up to your own decision. i don't know all of the news. but wad i can only say is - take it with just a pinch of salt.

GE news. I think the news is sort of biased towards the opposition teams. perhaps the opposition gave more info which the reporters like, more sensational. unlike the PAP which is uhm, boring n political correct. esp nicole seah. i hv no qualms with her. she is better than tpl, if u just judged on the stuff during the GE period. however, i dun think she deserve so much coverage. in fact, she has to thank tpl for her popularity. i believe that there are other candidates who deserve more reports on them and their campaign. n the comparison of the fb likes. totally ridiculous and childish.
edison chen sex photos scandal. well, i dun hv to say much. of cos it is morally wrong of mr chen and the other females to do this kind of stuff. but do the media hv the need to publish the pictures and run the news for like a mth? think of the protagonists' family. they r innocent yet they hv to bear the humiliation.
brangelina news. dunno much abt them and dun really care.

what i hv say so far are mostly discrediting the media. of cos they do, on the whole, still tried to publish truths. there are also a few reporters with integrity. so i wun deny their efforts. just that as the media industry starts to bloom, it is disheartening to see less and less credibility in it. perhaps the whole industry is meant to be not so credible esp since most are controlled by the gov. i just hope that there will be more objective info and truth in the media instead of just the opinions of the reporters or writers.

hmm, how shld i start this post...LOL. *cracking my brain*

well, its alr abt a mth of summer hol. i thot i'll be quite free/bored esp in the 1st wk. but tadah! it turns out the opposite. i felt i hv been rather busy. yet when i start recalling, i hadn't really been doing much. hahas..so contradicting.

on weekdays, im busy with work. had been helping my colleague rush out the title that is going to be shown soon on animax channel=) perhaps i hv gotten used to the work that i feel time is passing rather fast during work. or is it cos we're having longer lunch break? LOL. oya, definitely hv to mention that there r lots of nice food ard tanjong pagar! lunch everyday is worth looking forward too. n aft lunch, i nv failed to feel satisfied. muahaha=D simply love the fish soup bee hoon n century egg porridge at maxwell, the yong tao fu at the market, n the fish soup at amoy street etc...^^ the one thing that is really bad abt work i guess is the forever-very-crowded mrt n escalator n lift. everyday i had to see crowds dashing into trains and squeezing out of it. then the escalators r another horror. it is also often that the lift at my workplace is likened to a mini mrt. thot spore has only 5million ppl. how come it feel like 50million ppl=.= so that basically sums up my weekdays, with once/twice a week dinner with xx:)

on weekends, im busy meeting ppl. hv been meeting diff groups of ppl on diff weekend. the 1st week was uni, 2nd was sec, and last week was jc. it was nice to meet up old friends and catch up on everyone's current status. n im glad most of us didnt change much - crappy as usual, forever nonsensical, haha. im really gonna count my blessings=) nonetheless, for the next few weekends, i guess i'll perhaps take a break to spend time with xx or my family:) also, im still waiting for the ndp results. if im selected, then my sat will be burnt.

so actually i did quite some stuff, didnt i? haha. there are still 2 more mths of summer hols to go. wonder will it get busier or slacker...cos u know, most ppl hv the tendency to rush many meetups immediately at the start of the hol. then as time goes, u'll find urself staying at home. ok, at least that's for me.

rmb i did say i hv some plans in mind what i want to do in previous post. to be honest, i haven really give a serious thought to it,haha. maybe just to list a few:
- Baking!^^ - tried only simple cookies n cupcakes. may try tarts or pies later on.
- Universal Studios with jc clique (yeah!) - have been wanting to go since last yr. hopefully this yr can go,lol
- 'Sports' Day - want to play badminton, running etc...
- Shopping - seriously need to reload/revamp my wardrobe=( every morning is a chore to decide wad clothes to wear with the limited choices...hv been borrowing my sis n mum clothes. boo.. yet im lazy to go shopping cos hv to squeeze with the crowd. still GSS is very tempting. alternatively i can do online shopping. cheap n convenient=)
so that's all for now. if u hv any suggestions for me,do tell me. lol.

moving on after GE 2011...

okay..im still sore abt George Yeo's loss and that he is going to quit the parliament=((((( thanks to ppl in aljunied hur.

anw it is the second day into my work=) i shld say it wasnt really tt bad though i can foresee it is going to be quite mudane in time to come. but hey, which job isnt mudane and routine? lol. spent the 1st day of work watching 17 episodes of anime. it is really BORING and TIRING!!! some said i was so fortunate, just hv to watch anime. but 17 is really alot k! luckily the show wasnt bad. started subbing the show tdy. amazingly, it was quite fun doing it though wad i really hv to do is just to insert the subtitles at the correct time and check the language. but i only manage to sub 1 episode tdy=( and there are like 20+ more for me to go!

though this job isnt well-paid (in fact very lowly paid), though this job isnt engineering related (as wad i had wanted initially), though this job may not be of use to me eventually, i guess it was one of the few i really wanted to do. had alw wanted to do some media related job n im happy i got it. the colleagues are very nice so far. the work scope fits me. like wad one of my uni fren says, we shld explore diff types of jobs before graduation. cos by then, most probably u will be doing a job u are studying. i was abit pek chek when i didnt manage to get engineering related job previously. but then i realise, all along i didnt actually want an engineering related vacation job. i was only seeking it cos it will boost my resume and useful for job application in the future..so, yup i gotta thank the company for accepting me=) lol. those who didnt accept, it is ur loss. haha, just kidding.

so..besides work, hopefully i can find more stuff to do, haha. sorta sick of having nth to do like the last summer vacation=( hv some plans in mind alr.. ^^

and of cos, not forgetting going to catch up with frens. went out with my uni coursemate last fri. wasnt tt bad=) going to meet them this coming sun again for k session. though i guess i will just be sitting there and be a good audience,lols. n there is mayyee bdae coming up! really looking fwd to more meet ups.

results are out. PAP took 81 seats out of 87 seats. the rest of the seats are taken by WP. though George Yeo and his team lost, they displayed good sportsmanship=) all the best to him in his future endeavors...n for the winning team, hope they can live up to their promises....

happy tt bishan is still under PAP:) though they won by a margin, but a win is still a win! yeah!

GE 2011 is over. for the nxt 5 years, i look forward to how PAP can change for the better, n how WP can work hand in hand with PAP for a First Class Parliament.

GE 2011

well, i have been wanting to blog abt the GE 2011 for the past few days but had put it aside cos of exams. n tdy is alr the voting day..

1st time in my life that im following so closely to the election. perhaps i hv grown up or perhaps is bcos bishan grc is no longer a walkover. this yr GE is extremely exciting i shld say. with so many opposition parties popping out from nowhere. PAP is no longer going to just sit down there, shake leg n tadah, they r in the parliament. we can see how hardworking PAP is during this yr election. maybe they feared of losing. but i wld rather see it as they were being sincere n truly want to serve the residents. for me, i hv yet to see Mr Chiam ever since he came to contest in bishan. i only knew frm the news that he is visiting toa payoh n potong pasir??? i mean if he still like potong pasir, go back there la. we dun nid u here in bishan. where is his sincerity really?? n to put it bluntly, the other members of SPP seem to be just feeding off Mr Chiam's fame. never had i seen them before or even hear them talk during interviews. oh, perhaps only tt Mr Pwee. seriously, i just find he and his team coming to bishan to enjoy the fruits of labour of wad PAP have been doing for us for so many years. bishan has one the best env to stay in. we hv the best sch here, the extensive transport system etc..these r done by the PAP for god sake. of cos those pro-opp will say cos the opp were not given a chance to. well, i reckon even if they r given the chance to, they wun perform well either. this is so evident when they dun even hv a plan for the residents in bishan-toa payoh grc. only if they r appointed, they will come up with the plan in 100days =.= seriously is this the attitude?

i think i sounded very biased and harsh against opp. actually, i wasnt a very pro-PAP person cos indeed PAP hv not done excellently well. some policies were really crap. but comparing opp and PAP, i believe PAP will do a much much better job. we hv one of the best gov in the world though we dun hv the most democracy. but look at those countries with lots of human rights n u will know wad i mean.

the changes the opp brought up werent that great either. sound so ridiculous. like SDP's manifesto of using the national reserve. even i who haven studied politics knew it was stupid. the changes brought up on healthcare n CPF were also not feasible. let ppl take $$ frm the CPF at an earlier age? ya, n u will see most of the money been deposited in the "Bank of China". to me, the opp are just doing and saying this cos this is wad the normal citizen wld want to hear. ppl who r angry n pissed with the gov will definitely agree with wad ever nonsense the opp says. n it will definitely be sad if ppl just vote in a moment of anger/folly.

im crossing my fingers for the results tonight. n for Mr George Yeo as well. He and his team deserve to be in the Parliament more that Mr Low and his team. to lose such a nice minister to an arrogant opp leader, it is the country's loss.

actually the urge to blog have not been finding me..sorta lost the interest to constantly blog=( perhaps i was busy..slacking, stoning, playing etc except studying, haha...

anyway..been to sentosa twice in a mth:) one is for the circus-cum-theatre show while the other is a stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. and guess wad is the best thing???? ALL IS FOC!! haha..cool=D cos my aunt's colleague is a member of RWS and so she got all these free stuff ^^

instead of taking a bus or monorail or cable cars, we decided to walk along the boardwalk to enjoy the scenery. ok ok, we walk cos we want to save $$, hahaha. if not, who in the world will walk under the blazing sun for >500m to see marina bay where u can alr see it on the expressway, haha.

have been a few years since im at sentosa. it has changed quite abit cos of RWS. well, we need to attract tourists so it is necessary to kp coming up with novel stuff. but still..im not very comfortable with seeing casinos here:x

this is the show i watched.. $128 a seat! so ex! seriously, wun hv watched if it isnt free. the show was well, as said, world class. but for normal ppl like me n u..$128 for a 1.5 hr show can allow us to watch 16 movies?? of cos, the performance was great but some parts were a little boring as u know not everyone appreciates theatrical stuff.

passed by universal studio. reminds me of USA...haiz..

that marks the end of my 1st trip there. the sunset was real nice=) esp with the cable cars, looks so diff frm typical spore

my 2nd trip to hard rock hotel! a pity didnt visit hard rock cafe. anw the place was GREAT! maybe cos everything was new, haha..

so much things hv happened over the weekend.

i duno where to start n how to start. the disaster in Japan hit me though it likes how many thousand kilometres away from me. had always thot end of the world is just a joke, n even if it happens, it will not be my generation. but aft seeing series of disasters frm all over the world, the political conflicts in the middle east area, the never recovering economies...nothing is impossible. spore has always been sheltering me, protecting me from disasters and everything till i took some things for granted. cant imagine myself in other parts of the world, having to worry about survival for instance. just gotta pray hard for the japanese people=)

n ytd got to meet up with the girls after so long! just realised how caught up im with my school work till i had start 'losing contact' with people,LOL. hopefully all the hard work will pay off. n even if it doesnt, well..haha, i cant do much either.

i will have to start learning korean as well...if not, i'll soon not understand wad my frens are talking=x

anw the concert is JUST SO GREAT! n definitely worth the money:) much better than jay chou,haha!

i guess my sis n i were lucky tt we gt quite gd seats - 3rd row frm the walkway and 4seats from the mini stage!! really get to see the members up close!! their faces were just as perfect as seen on screen. haha,ehh..maybe nt la. siwon n donghae gt a few pimples here n there. ryeowook and eeteuk make up is thick. but heechul...really his complexion..ENVIOUS!!

the performance was also WONDERFUL!! songs n dances r really nice. though they danced lesser than i expected. guess they were busy interacting with the audience,hehes. love KRY + donghae + sungmin (in my dreams), kyu (xin bu liao qing), wookie (one fine spring day), henry (baby), n nt forgetting hits like sorry sorry, shake it up, don don, good person etc etc...although mostly are korean songs, they dun sound foreign to me. though i duno the lyrics,i can sing along w songs like rokkugo, bonamana..n their gags! small funny actions..simply love these guys. below r the pics i took for memory sake. but hp cam is real bad=(

sch starts...on a really BAD note!

fcuk the sch sys...till nw,they hv yet to solve the prob on mod allocation. round3 alr n things r nt done!!! n who's gg suffer??? STUDENTS!! i have NEVER expected such things to happen, esp for core mods! both chem n mse dept r at fault. but the attitude of the chem dept really pissed me off! they are just pushing the blame ard which delays the time things r done. n for me, they says will only allocate for me if i can take a certain lab slot(wed). SCREW THEM!! this is so unfair to me. otr ppl r given the mod w/o condition. if i had been given the mod earlier on,i wld hv balloted for the lab n nw wun be such deep shit! TO HELL WITH THEM! give me such shitty reply. im really super pissed off. if i dun take this mod nw, i wld most likely hv to take it in year4 sem2 which is like so....Fcuk!

ytd went out for 2/3 chalet.wun vividly describe it here nt bcos it isnt nice.just mixed feelings...hard to express out in words.hahahas...but overall get to see ppl i haven seen for ages. the gals r still as pretty n the guys r still as nice=) quite a number turned up,but heard wasnt as many as before.well,if it is 10yrs down the road..i wonder will there still be so many ppl. maybe for the guys but the class...hmm

so nice to be back. think this is one of the rare instances tt im happy to be back frm an overseas trip. usually i'll pray to extend my stay there..but nt in this case. in fact, i hope i'll nv had to go there again.

its nt tt the place isnt gd.but just the tour isnt fun.its boring=( everyday is trekking up hills and villages.plus weather is bad.raining and foggy. cant see clearly and hv to walk in the mud.boo=( wad made things worst was tt the tour guide isnt gd at all. unclear instructions and last min changes to the itinery. idk if im picky or wad..i srsly think the tour guide isnt gd. n nw im back in spore,im having diarrhea till nw T_T most probably due to the poor conditions there ba. quite a number fell sick, vomiting n having diarrhea too...haiz. really one of my worst trip=(

it is really sad tt since my last paper, yes exactly my last paper, im down w flu and infection on my wisdom tooth. thereafter the 'great auntie' came visiting..oh well, it may be a blessing in disguise since it didnt happen when im having exams. if it did, i guess i'll be feeding on painkillers everyday =/

last day of yr2 sem1. time passes damn fast =(

this sem has been well, i guess. unlike many of my peers, my schedule isnt tt tight except during the time when i was giving tuition.

academic wise, less physics which is gd. but mse on the whole is super competitive..i thot i did rather well but just cant hit the avg =.= well, i'll still cont to mug hard(er). competition is motivation!!!! =D

personal r/s wise, i get to know more ppl frm mse which is gd. realise that they r actually a rather nice grp of ppl. regretted abit nt getting to noe them earlier. maybe is cos of our small cohort, everyone knows each otr (or at least saw each otr face b4). it is like a big family. somehow make me think of sec sch. a class of 40 ppl - having cliques but do things tgt as a class. here,we do things as mse. (: really hope for the nxt few yrs, we can grow closer ba.. oso got to catch up with old frens frm jc and amk. old frens are nv too old i guess. while i missed those days, i look fwd to the future. yes, maybe bcos this sem we took the same mod and hence gt to see each otr more often. but i certainly hope it is just the beginning tt we can continue to kp in touch even if we r no longer taking common mod.

this sem has been quite diff for the both of us as no longer are we taking the same mod. but luckily, our timetables do not differ too much. i knew u were stressful this sem due to the workload and stuff. though it is hard, u r very tolerating towards me.maybe academic wise we may nt be able to help each otr, emotional wise at least to me, u did quite a gd job (: thank you very much for everything.

okk, gotta chiong for the nxt 3 wks or so. looking fwd to hols where i can again catch up with ppl!!!

HOLIDAYS ARE COMING=D hahaha.so looking fwd to it ^^

ohh..anw kp wanting to write sth abt tt downtown east hacking incident which involved a young poly student getting killed by 10 guys who are ard 19-21yrs old. anotr case is regarding a current serving NS man who injured a few ladies and killed a young mother. Both tragedies occurred due to, i shld say, bizzare reasons. the 1st was triggered by just a staring incident. MERE STARING. the 2nd was said tt the victims look alike FRM THE BACK to the ex-gf of the guy who dumped him. JUST FROM THE BACK.

it is so unfair to the innocent victims. lives are lost just like tt bcos some f***ing idiots nt feeling happy then kill anyone they like. so wad eventually if they r really punished by law? tt's the only punishment they get. wad abt the parents of the dead boy? wad abt the family and kids of the young mother? dun they think b4 they act? wad makes things worst is that some criminals in otr cases may be given a lighter sentence or even scot free if their lawyers defended them well.

yes,law isnt perfect. there r alw loopholes. yet tt is only how much one can punish these offenders.

at times, i really wish there is someone like Kira who punished those criminals that r unrepentant and repeatedly carried out those crimes. torture them instead of kill them. make them feel the pain they inflict onto their victims. like in cases of rapes, i can sympathize with the victims. for the entire life,they r scarred. they lost confidence in ppl esp if it is their closed ones who did it to them. no matter how much counseling is done, there is alw a thorn in their heart. there is alw the image of tt incident haunting them day n night. a recent case was a foreign worker raping a lady frm the same hometown despite her pleading to kp her chastity n even agreed to hv oral sex w him. yet tt b***ard refused n got his way. anotr was a young man raping a middle-aged lady (mother of his ex-gf). he tortured her for 6hrs and during tt tormenting time, raped her despite her needs to go to the toilet. in both cases, both guys will be jailed and caned. yes, just jailed and caned. wad abt the victims? wad abt them???

in all the above cases, i felt really enraged and disappointed that this is how much law can do to the criminals only. yes,maybe no matter wad is gg to be done to the criminals,it is nv gg to reverse anything or salvage anything. but at least more can be done to stop ppl frm committing those crimes isnt it? like castrating those rapists. killing the murderer like how they did to their victims (though tt doesnt set u apart frm the murderer)

life is so fragile. maybe one day i will be slashed bcos i looked like someone the idiot hate. no worries,i'll haunt n torture the person for life.

i sincerely hope tt all the criminals in the above cases could be punished by law and the victims could slowly move on with their life. may time wash away tt painful memory of theirs (:

4th week of sch at nus = 1st wk of sch at ntu..oh well, the transport system is gg to get more crowded=x haha

anw ytd just experienced the most hectic sch day. hv lesson frm 9 to 4. tuition frm 4.30 to 8.30. and all i hv is an hr of lunch break cos thankfully there is no tut. if nt i can really just die... n oso thks for him fetching me n buying me dinner aft tuition which save me frm reaching hm at 9.30=(

so far i haven been learning anything new in sch except mle mod n soon econs mod. my gem is really just a revision of bio in jc which makes me wonder wad is the purpose of reading it. some of frens were saying "isnt tt great?then this mod can help u pull ur CAP". yea rite, having a backgrd in it doesnt equate to getting an A for it.u hv to work for it....

yeap, everything has to be worked on. Academic results, relationships, friendships, careers etc etc... having a backgrd may give u a headstart but wad determines the winner in the race is the amt of effort u put in in the process. so dun give up if u dun hv anything to start w. work hard and catch up w ur best efforts. even if u lose, at least u can tell urself u did ur very best.

i was previously very nonchalent abt it. even as my frens shared with me some encounters. perhaps cos i didnt experience it myself (PS: experience doesnt mean im into this homosexual thing k.im super straight)

however,upon seeing homosexuals myself,n knowing more abt them, it sends goosebumps to my body =x seriously,dun they feel weird?n why do they start out in the 1st place?? i really feel like telling tt young lady tt wad she is doing is hurting her parents definitely.n one day,it will hurt her too. she is still so young to get into a r/s. let alone a homosexual one.

all religions shld be respected. and everyone shld hv the choice to choose wad they wan to believe in. but wad did u ppl do? compelling an 80plus-years-old lady to do away with her religion as a Buddhist, remove the altars so as to put a CROSS there. and all these is in the name to cure her son. if she doesnt believe in their GOD, her son will nv be cured. sorry, but wad bullshit is tt? anyone who is educated, or even if u r nt educated, will jolly well noe tt it is totally untrue tt if u dun believe in GOD, u will nv be healed frm wadever sickness u r suffering frm. n nw,u r preying on the poor lady's love for her son. the old lady is so reluctant to convert as she is so used to give her offerings to Guanyin, Buddha and other Goddess. yet bcos of wad u say, she is nw afraid tt if she doesnt convert, her son nv recover.

LEETEUK - BEST LEADER

There was a poll done recently and LeeTeuk came in 1st as the one with the best leadership among the other leaders of Korean boybands ^^ it wasnt surprising at all for it is indeed tough to lead a group of then 13 now 10 members. when members get into trouble,leeteuk did the PR job. esp last yr where hangeng left the grp and there were rumours whereby otr members maybe leaving as well, leeteuk stood by his position as the leader,promising to hold suju tgt. it was touching to see how the members express their gratitude to leeteuk on various variety shows. heechul,donghae,wookie etc...

certainly,all this may juz be a show. a show who did these to increase viewship. a show to earn the tears frm the fans (im definitely NOT one of them, haha). still, trying not be cynical, i was warmed by how the members cared for each otr under the leadership of leeteuk. for 13 people with no relationship but juz connected by the desire to succeed in the showbiz, to get tgt is definitely nt easy. yet,they did it and made themselves a name worldwide=)

their success shldnt be taken for granted for they put in years of trainings b4 they debut. yet,it is nt unusual tt ppl start to get '2nd thots' when things r smooth sailing. tt's y rarely are there groups tt stay on tgt for many many years. most face the situation whereby some members went solo. like DBSK & SS501.

then it made me ponder deeper. how come wad unites ppl end up separating them? and some even ended up in an ugly situation. put aside these showbiz matters. in real life,arent we like tt? once best frens can end up in as enemies bcos of one matter, even if it is a very very trivial matter. n wad's more ridiculous and amazing to me is how a husband & wife end up fighting in court against each otr, accusing each otr. hv they forgotten their vows to each otr? hv they forgotten all the sweet moments they hv? tt's y i hv phobia for marriage=/ maybe it seems abit farfetched,but im afraid tt one day i hv to divorce w two or three children. geez.

so to make things work,efforts have to be put in. n sometime it juz takes someone to repair the strained relationship. like in friendship,it may take one to initiate perhaps an apology. n lucky for suju,there is leeteuk to unite the members =) kudos to him,for putting so much effort!

wun say i hv been rotting at home,but didnt do anything constructive too. tried making dried flowers as it is super wasted to see the withered flowers being thrown away everytime. so i googled ways to make dried flowers n being lazy, i chose the simplest way. instead of leaving the flowers to dry by hanging them upside down (???) for days, i ironed the flower petals. yes,iron them which made me abit dumb =s my bro n mom were like 'duh, u ironing flowers??' end up,the ironed petals smelled really like hashbrowns =/
so could anyone juz tell me how to make dried flowers in the most time and effort efficient manner?? haha

yesh...!!! tdy is the last day of work^^ okk,there is still like 2hrs b4 my work officially ends.but im juz so eager to end it.haha...it is really a no brainer job tt even my 'clever' bro shld be able to do it..hehes. still i noe i shant complain much. it is better than rotting at home n earning ZERO income. at least im rotting at toast box for 10 days WITH income. we hv been sisters for 17years.

throughout the 17yrs, of cos there were many fights and bickerings, there is no feud btwn us.u may hv a foul temper.but u r my best listening ear.i had alw enjoyed the time we spent talking b4 one of us fell asleep on bed.i used to want a room for myself but i realise tt will be too lonely. recently, i noe i haven been spending lots of time at home.when u nid help in ur work,im nt there.when u feel hungry,im nt there to buy u snacks.when u wan share w my stuff,im bz doing otr work.but at the end of the day,i wan to assure u tt no matter,i will alw treasure the sisterhood btwn both of us,juz like our aunts.

mon was tiring. tues was exhaustive=S were running thru the setups n the flow of the programme very quickly on mon as the programme will start in the morning the nxt day. none of us thot tt facilitating the students will be tt tough. to get them interested in the programme is so000 much difficult. but as we put ourselves in their shoes n seeing ourselves back during our secondary sch days, arent we like them? force to attend such after-exam-programme which i nw has no vivid recollection abt them=/ seriously, i think nt many of them will benefit frm the programme.most were juz sitting in the labs like zombies (as my partner describes). in fact, we facilitators r like zombies too,hahaha. its so tiring to stand in the lab for so many hrs,repeating the same stuff again n again.luckily for me,my partner took all the 6sessions.if nt,i think i will drop dead aft the end of the programme=( which makes me kind of guilty cos im the leader as well...

n aft this programme,it further cfm tt i will nt take up any teaching job unless i hv no choice to.to face students who dun respect u is kind of demoralizing.i can see students snubbing the teachers in front of us n i feel sry for the teachers. wad generation of kids r we breeding nw???

plus the edu system seems to be having lots of prob..got to meet an ex-nie graduate who is now revisiting uni to study anotr course. it was there i noe abt the dark side of the edu sys, which is at times even worst than the corporate world. politics n politics. n most teachers r nt really passionate abt their jobs..

of cos,i met many otr ppl as i underwent training. most of the same catogory as me, gg uni or alr in uni. it has only been 3 days as we worked tgt but some clicked like they hv known each otr for yrs. n they r even gg to hv a bbq session for us facilitators. is it tt easy to bond?? my anotr colleague (wun say fren as yet..) shared the same sentiment.it seems tt as we enter uni, it seems so easy to establish 'friendship' (inverted commas cos i dun see them as true friendship). m i being too conservative or r they being too casual? seriously,maybe i shld start reflecting..

im back. finally aft hearing ppl celebrating freedom day, i finished my last paper tdy =D

well,im nt gg care how well or how badly i did.its over!!! lalalalalalala. the results will juz leave it to the markers.

anywayyyy...it hv been long since i wrote 'serious' stuff,haha. somehow my blog hv been abt suju n trivial matters. n ya,talking abt suju..they r releasing their 4th album on 13may!!! but only with 10members participating. sad=( but im still gg support. SUPER JUNIOR xD

okk,enuf of suju (though seriously i adore them ^^). general election is coming. n the gov is coming up with weird policies again to tao hao the citizens.

increase CPF contribution by 1%. for wad?im nt working to enjoy such benefits T.T haha...

changing the pricing of bus fares in the name to reduce fare for consumers. but no matter wad,it seems im nt gg to save money.instead im gg to lose the benefit of rebates=/ sianzzz...the new fare pricing is really ahem dumb??it assumes ppl r gg to make lots of transfers which is actually a hassle. in addition,they r gg to take away long distance bus. which though dun really affect me...haha.still the plan doesnt really make sense. so all these points to one thing: ppl who dun take public transport dunno how ppl who take public transport want n feel.

lastly,reducing the weightage of chinese in PSLE. sry n pardon me for saying. THIS IS DEFINITELY A STUPID IDEA. seriously, wonder who's the ahem who think of this 'superb' policy. the issue of learning chinese has been gg on for yrs and the result is only - standard n importance of chinese hv been dropping. furthermore, wad message is the ahem trying to convey: hey students,if u dunno chinese nvm, we lower the standard. if u dunno maths nvm, we lower the standard. this exactly spells y the quality of students r declining. perhaps the ahem is having this policy in view of the fact tt our top students r all foreigners or chinese nationals. so to counter this, we bring down weightage of chinese so tt these kids wun perform n our local so-called elites will outdo them. so typical of spore gov. scare opposition parties win, divide the country into so many grc to reduce probability of the opp winning =S it really makes me wonder the quality of elites we are producing. are we only producing talents who noe wad is in their textbooks?r we producing elites who bcos cant master chinese, turn to the gov n complain instead if working things out themselves? we hv bred a generation who doesnt solve prob themselves,who dun dare to face failure. everything we leave it to the gov to come up w policies to save us. maybe this is exactly wad the ahem wants - reliance on them so tt they wun be voted out=/ yes, it is high time for the gov to look into our education system but pls, definitely nt lowering it. kids here hv alr been trained to work hard if it is counted in the exams. if u removed it from the exams,it is a fallacy tt they will cont to work hard on tt subject on their own.

once again,it's cny.

this yr the cny is super long.n i guess many ppl r looking fwd to it. but in face w so many days of hols, ppl r lost at wad to do. in the end, it is juz anotr hol where u stay at home to mug, to surf the net, to chat on the phone, to do all the mudane stuff u can do at any pt of ur daily routine.

i hate to admit,but cny seems to lose the meaning.

no longer is it a day for families n relatives to bond - cos everyone juz shook hand, exchange greetings, recieve hongbaos. n there u sit there,munch on all the goodies,watch the tv etc etc. u may even see those unfamiliar faces, to noe they r actually ur cousins. some dun even turn up.

CS is boring boring BORING. last time alr hv prob doing up blogskin template n nw i hv to do programming???? geezzz. Maths was miraculously nt dull. i din doze off and i actually understand wad the lecturer is talking,heh...amazing. plus the lecturer is an angmoh.think my eng improve le hor :p aft lect went roaming ard w qad. roaming is a rather apt word cos we are PRACTICALLY walking here n there, waiting for the sun to set so tt we wun hv to run under the burning star (my eng really improve!! so literature,lol) n yea,we manage to run afterall BUT at a such a pace tt >0.5hr we only ran 2.4km??!! think old-ness is creeping on us,or me only ba...=\

it has been 48hrs since im back in spore...but i still dun feel im back :/ my sis was even recalling wad we would hv been doing 2wks ago. according to her,we r still on the flight to LA,lol.

and the reason for this....

US IS SO SO SO FUN!!!!!!!! *SCREAMS*

sry if i sound still so hyped and crazy...but yea,its super fun there.as for shanghai,perhaps it's bcos i only stayed for 3days, it is comparatively boring there.

hv been overeseas 12days. n i muz say im damn lucky.

firstly,i didnt kena the hijacked plane.

secondly,i missed a gunshot incident.it happened in San Fransico the day aft i was at.the very same pier.think i'll freak out if the gunshot happened right in front of me.

thirdly,i gt to try on business class for FREE!! (perhaps its no big deal for many) the service in business class was so much better than in economy class. the meal alone even hv soup,main dish n desserts,haha

but i missed all the snow T.T dunno y but snow alw came either b4 or aft me. eg,shanghai is snowing b4 i arrived there.n was reported to be snowing on the night aft i left =.= suay...
anw the weather is usually freaking cold:( makes me miss spore weather for the very 1st time,haha. n to consider we r outdoor for most days...burrrr=S

this is wad i hv done for the 12 days

day 1 - on the plane to LA

the plane journey really kills =( total abt 15 hrs of flight excluding 6hrs of waiting for the transit. but this is nth compared to the return flight. if w/o shanghai as the stopover,it will be abt 20hrs of plane journey. one day is juz gone like tt sitting in tt small plane :(

day 2 - Santa Monica

reached LA in the afternoon but it was midnight according to spore time=/ lucky for me,i dint suffer frm jet lag.perhaps as describe by my sis: im juz like a pig.she was so angered by my power to slp immediately anywhere anytime,haha. think i muz give credit to my uni lecturers for teaching me this skill,lol.

day 3 - Disneyland!!

it was juz 2008 since i went HK disneyland.aft being to US,i agree w many tt HK disneyland really is huh...boring??!! in US there r many more rides, thrilling as well. tried on so many roller coasters till i was abit numb to them,haha. but the queue was really damn long for many rides. queue for abt 1 hr for some. i muz say ang mohs r really more daring than asians?? in most queues for exciting rides, hardly i find ppl who r nt ang mohs. even kids r all so eager in playing those rides. admire them for their courage,haha. n the fireworks again,touched me (as in emotional wise). nxt time will give a visit to jap n shanghai disneyland to complete my collection,haha.

day 4 - Universal Studios :)

1st time to universal studios, n its is damn COOL!!!! saw alot of behind the scenes n understand how movies r made.

will upload some interesting videos on fb. tried some very exciting rides,haha.cause me to almost lose my voice.the mummy ride is the fastest roller coaster i hv ever ride on.it didnt spare me the time to complete my screams,haha.n the vertical plunge in the jurassic park,woah..i felt i was like jumping down frm my flat. i swear nxt time if i ever ever were to commit suicide,i'll definitely choose nt to jump frm any flats,haha.simpsons ride was the most interesting simulator ride cos it feel so so so real. the haunted hse was the funniest,haha. my aunt was scared by the 'ghost' at the entrance which sent her screaming in the presence of otr visitors,lol. i was practically clutching, or shld i say, pulling my uncle's bag throughout the walk into the haunted hse. my sis n i was like taking turns to scream. think in the end, we scared the ghosts away instead,haha. omg..i feel like gg back to universal studios again T.T

day 5 - SHOPPING b4 gg to Las Vegas

thot i wasnt gg to shop cos i wasnt a shopaholic.n the shops there r all branded. but...i shopped like nobody's business,haha. the things there r cheaper than those in spore n r hv much more varieties. think im oso partly influenced by the females in my tour grp. they were sweeping the things w/o blinking their eyes. bet u'll be shocked to see how they swept baskets n baskets of coach bags. its as if they haven seen coach bags b4,haha. anw the wind in vegas is so cold,almost freeze my fingers n nose. if u hv watched the latest season of amazing race, u'll find these familiar:

the pictures of mirage n MGM is too dark liao...but the lightings r really great at night.vegas is truely an entertainment centre.

day 6 - Grand Canyon

hv a stopover at hoover dam. grand canyon is really really magnificent. it is so deep as it is really bottomless.i almost trembled as i near the edge of the cliff cos if u looked down, OMG...really,there is no bottom=S.

day 7 - Shopping again at Fresno

2nd time shopping.think im getting the hang of it,haha...my sis was practically sweeping anything she sees.their discounts can go up to 80%!!!

day 8 - San Fransico

beautiful is the word. the golden gate bridge at sunset is really great. it was said that every yr,abt 1000 ppl will jump off frm this bridge,which means avg 2.5 ppl jump frm the bridge.my aunt was saying how come we didnt get to witness a jump,lol.

day 9 -Shopping again at Gilroy

fine.i admit i became a shopaholic today.aft the 2 days of warm up,i was fully geared,haha.even though we were given 7hrs to shop,i still find it insufficient.i still hv tons i dint buy like tommy hilfiger bag,converse shoes,dresses etc =( most of the shops were flooded,esp the coach shop.u even hv to queue to get in there,haha. n i overheard one of the aunt in my grp completely burnt abt 5000USD(abt S$8000) during the 3 days of shopping!!! *shocked* but dun blame her bcos the things r really cheap. for only 19.99USD, u can get levi jeans,converse shoes, an adidas bag etc...

day 10 - Sightseeing

another beautiful sight.17 mile drive is really great.the waves,rocks,grass n everything.nice! the pebble beach resort make me fall in love in golf suddenly,haha.cos it is so classy n...nice. (im running out of vocab words,haha) went walmart (smth like carrefour) at night to shop for post xmas goodies,haha.juz cant get enuf of shopping.

day11-12 - Shanghai

tasted xiaolongbao.but wad left me the greatest impression is how the ppl there hard sell things. if u hv been to asian countries,it is common tt they will bring u to stores that specially sell a particular products such as honey,tea,jade etc.it is the 1st time i witness the salesperson there chase all the way to the bus to sell their product.of cos she failed cos it really put ppl off.if ur product is tt gd,u dun hv to hard sell things. on the side note,i feel lucky i still look like a young kid in this kind of situation.cos these ppl wun pester u like leeches,haha.

anw im still, as usual, suffering frm post-travelling syndrome,haha.was lazing ard practically for the past 48hrs.haiz...

all in all,this trip was truely a terrific experience.tour members were nice generally.n US mac is nicer than spore's,haha.admit i was surviving on mac for 3days,haha.but didnt really catch many fastfood restaurants as shown in TV.think they belong to the new york areas ba...lol.anw my pocket is nw burnt.spent abt 200USD, mostly on shopping,haha xD but unlike otr times,im nt regretful this time round.n i swear if the plane journey could be shorten,i'll definitely visit US again(:

counting down to this fri. yea, 5 more days!!! will be going to US and shanghai frm 18th-31st. 1st time gg to such a faraway country for a relatively long period of time (~13days). i bet you ppl r gg to miss me,haha.

this is also the 1st trip tt nid lots of preparation. buy winter clothes, register for wavier of visas etc...gg US is SOOOOO troublesome!! =S

rmb when i was younger (im still young nw :p), i used to worry wad will happen to my hse when im nt in spore. will there be break-ins in my hse? will my hse be on fire bcos my mom forget to turn off the stove? will spore hv earthquake which shook down my flat? knew all these sounded silly, but u cant blame a young lil gal for worrying abt them. this time, besides all these, i worry more for the safety in US. say im paranoid or whatsoever. i might juz get shot down by an insane person out at the shopping mall. i might get get robbed by some huge guys along the streets. i might contract tt never-seem-to-disappear H1N1 virus (though i hv injected myself w the vaccine) i may...oh well, im super paranoid nw. hahaha

Have been rather busy these few days after exams. Spending lots of time and money out there yet w/o any income. was thinking of updating wad i hv done but again, i was pondering-wad's the use of tt?haha xD but still ya, juz write it down b4 i go senile...lol

fri (04/11): out with my dad and siblings to eat and walk ard. rare tt actually our dad brought us out. nonetheless he n my sis almost fell asleep in the lib. haha,think tt's definitely nt the place for them. then met up w sw n mayyee for awhile to get dor her present. n as usual we walked rounds n rounds n rounds n rounds.........b4 getting a nt-so-main-present --- a photo frame,lol.

sat (05/11): out at marina barrage n amk hub with the gals!! happy early-lated birthday to dor! lol.as usual, we met later than our meeting time due to as usual mayyee's lateness. (everything is like so 'as usual'. this has shown we didnt actually change alot) tried kite-flying (or fly kitying, lol) in the not-so-bad weather. still thanks to our superb skills tt we only managed to fly the kite successfully ONCE. nv knew kite flying was so fun. aft tt went new york new york for dinner, n admittedly, the service there was great! hope dor really has a gd surprise.

sun (06/11): uploading photos on the stupid fb. ok, i admit is im stupid cos i dun really noe how to upload.

mon (07/11): wad was i doing?haha.think i spent most of my time playing w sarah, lol.

tues (08/11): out with ljx the whole afternoon walking around orchard. didnt know orchard was so big tt i past taka twice like in 1 hr time?lol. had high tea at marriott n saw ppl attending prom.reminded me of last yr's aj prom n ljx's continuous emphasising he was once a prom king...zzz. n both of us were choked for the rest of the day...haha.

think it has been years when my cousins and I get tgt to celebrate mid-autumn. still rmb the times when we celebrated this fes, we'r like in pri n lower sec. n as we grow older, with homework n exams piling up, with online games n stuff interfering our lives,we met less n less n less...n such celebration on traditional fes took a backseat. but at least for ytd, we met up to celebrate tgt =D (except for one whom i think i wun 'recongise' her anymore). things may have changed a bit -- no more carrying of lanterns ard bishan park, yet some didnt change -- burning of leaves & cardboards, running here n there, scaring the aunties with sparkles, hahahaha...

time certainly has changed

Recess week is coming to an end soon. was really bz...nt with work though until these few days.

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY

1st time tt i feel happy during teachers' day nt bcos its a holiday...thanks for the students who have wished me happy teachers' day. thanks gals:) ...hope to gather the gals for an outing one day aft their PSLE.

teaching is definitely nt an easy job. and aft being a tutor, i greatly admire teachers but also fear becoming one myself.

admire, cos they hv to handle diff students esp in the modern world where respect for teachers hv hit rock bottom.students smth really treat teachers like maid,or worst trash. im nt exaggerating, but if u hv chance look at the rich kids -- they thought they are kings. :S

fear, cos i dun wan live in hell. haha..cos i refuse to accept the fact tt even the children world is corrupted. the reality of the modern society is alr biting me. to think even in the children world, i hv to pretend to be nice to parents, lick their boots??! i cant do it!!! i admit there is a bit of exaggeration here but really some parents really put me off.

but i hv to be thankful that my little darlings(think they will cringe if they knew i called them darlings) are generally fine. stubborn,rebellious, hot-headed etc are the growing part of teenagers' lives.so putting aside those angry moments, i really enjoyed being with them:) nw i hv passed on this job to sw and my, may they get along with the students!

and darlings...i'll try to visit on children's day:)

WOAH...

could actually got a lower mark if nt for the traffic light. but still think the tester is very kind to me. didnt give me immediate failure for tt. n make me drive the shortest route..haha. was the second last to leave the school but return to school third:) look fwd to drive on road SOON....

school was going fine. nt much hiccups except for the bidding. was ponning lectures these few days. think i'll die of phy soon...lol.gg to depend on ljx for help...haha

Time really flies... (sounds cliché)

Haven been blogging for the past month because i was super super busy. didnt even realise my inbox is flooded with thousand emails. haha. thot june will be a relaxing mth for me cos the kids are having jun hols. on the contrary, hols = more work. zzz. ranging frm coaching them on their piles of homework and assessments, to planning outings, to clearing my work b4 i step down as a full-time worker. PHEW~~~ luckily its over now.

nw im working as a part-time as my working hrs is reduced to abt 3.5 every weekdays. sat is still burned, but at least i gt wed free. gg catch my fav bai fen bei:)

haha. in addition to my work, was studying for the APC test which i took last mon. the journey to NUS was a DISASTER!

supposed to reach the venue LT 33 at 9.40am. arrived at the destinated bus stop at 9.30am.
"Where the hell is that LT33??" was what is ringing in my mind. I checked the street directory b4 getting out of the hse, and ya, there wasn't any indication where LT33 is.

"excuse me, do you know where is LT33?"
"i am not very sure. u can follow the signs."
HUH?????? and i gt that kind of ans 4 times out of the 5 i asked.

think this spells tt im gg to get lost on my 1st day of sch. hai....
anw when i gt tt venue finally, my shirt was soaked with sweat. luckily the test had nt commence.
the paper wasn't tough. IF i hv studied hard for it. was so pek chek when doing the paper cos i hv came across many similar qns yet i didnt bother memorising. so...well, think im nt gg to make it. hai...

哥说这里少了惊爆。

也许是我的生活没那么多姿多彩。这一两个星期想了好多好多。但幸好有人听我诉说，也有故事书替我述说，有节目让我欢笑。

回到最原始的时代，才发现一切是那么的简单。是我们复杂化了。

孩子的喜怒哀乐发人深省。然而，现代的孩子也复杂化了。多了智慧，少了单纯。孩子顿时不再是孩子。是我太固执吗？自以为孩子是单纯的。

孩子的定义仍然没变。但他的行为举止已面目全非了。什么造成这样的变化？是家长？是老师？是朋友？是学校？是社会？是国家？是地球？看吧，我又把问题复杂化了。孩子变就变。管它的。

矛盾的心情，也许只有看到他们的表演才会暂时解开。

Many things happened for these past wks...hv no mood to actually blog cos was super tight up all the scholarships application. hai..screwed up the interview.

my uni choices are not entirely made up by me actually. was contemplating btwn pharmacy n MSE. pharmacy cut off is lower than MSE. MSE oso has only 50 vacancies. but if in pharmacy, i cant take up a double degree programme n it is rather narrow. can only work in pharmaceutical companies. so my father said: MSE. so my choices:

NUS
1. MSE
2. Pharmacy
3. Science
4. Environmental engineering

DDP: MSE & economics

NTU:
1. MSE & economics
2. MSE
3. Environmental engineering

weird tt i chose econs rite? wanted to choose accountacy but the modules scare me off..so economics:)

arts & social sciences which i wanted initially do nt really suit me. nt tt the area of interest is nt applicable, juz tt i cant handle it. being a sci student for years, i believe its very difficult for me to change into a literature n essay orientated person..haha.

成绩不错，只有华文令我失望，也令老师失望吧。但我不再计较了。

突然才发现，我最在意的不是成绩。因为那只不过是张纸。我在意的是我家人及亲戚的眼光。我想我从小到大都是这样吧。我不甘心他人对我家人的偏见。是，我父母不是大学生又怎么样。他们有的是对孩子的关心与照顾，对自己的父母孝顺及呵护。我早料到他们不会对我的成绩感到开心或难过。我考得好，也只不过是一声‘哦’。我考得不好是理所当然的。不只是我，对那些父母不是大学生的孩子也一样。别人考的好是理所当然的，应该开心。其他考得好，是运气。如今，我证明给他们看，不是大学生，读书工作普普通通，不是很有钱所养育的孩子也能考得不错。

enuf of those grumbles. juz cant get over w them for the moment..haha. went out tt day b4 n aft the release of the results. b4 the release of results, ppl cant eat, footsteps were so heavy. yet, aft the release of results, ppl become a glutton (nt really), n even able to walk frm sch to amk hub under the hot sun...amazing!! enjoy the days when we tgt in sch again. laughing, suaning each otr, crapping, eating etc...

低潮

谁敢说自己不曾陷入低潮，或永远不会陷入低潮呢？艺人最容易陷入低潮。因为演艺圈是残酷的。它风云变色，天天都在改朝换代。所以我挺佩服艺人的。他们只不过是普通人，只是拥有一些才艺，但却要背负着许许多多的责任。我得澄清：我佩服艺人，但我并不认同艺人。在众多的艺人中，吸引我的莫过于《娱乐百分百》的小猪和小鬼。呵呵:)

一个在演艺圈带了十几年，青春都献给了那对他相当残忍的演艺圈。从当年的“四大天王”到“罗密欧”到现在的“亚洲舞王”，他终于如愿以偿了。虽然没伴随他的历程，但每当他在节目上回顾他以往的点点滴滴，我也感到感慨。哪个小丑是真得开心的？记得大S曾经说过，他在他父亲去世时还在节目上强颜欢笑，开自己的玩笑。大S在一旁看了都心酸。

他的缺点很多。好色，大男人主义，有点自以为。
他的优点很多。努力，孝顺，讲义气。
每次看到party boys那群幼稚的大男人玩在一起，十分羡慕。能有这么好的朋友，是种缘分，是种幸福。而能幼稚在一起，靠大家的付出与努力。他就是party boys的主任 -- SHOW LUO aka 罗志祥 aka 小猪。

一个年龄只相差我七年，在演艺圈还不到十年。从当时的“丸子”（切记：不是“丸子三兄弟”。他最讨厌人家这么说。）到现在演戏，出画册，还自己单独主持节目，他已满足了。喜欢他很努力。看到他能自信的完成一段舞，说真的，我很开心。因为他从原本不会跳，到能完成一段舞，过程谈何容易。每次站在罗主任的旁边，全部的眼光只在“罗”而非他，心里的难受谁了解？

他的缺点很多。不够自信，幼稚，不能当老公（哈哈）。
他的优点很多。努力，会画画，懂得尊重他人。
看他能出书，能出单曲就已那么的兴奋，这就是小小的知足。他了解到人得一步一步来。当年的还没走就要飞的想法是不对的。他就是party boys资历最浅的小鬼 aka 黄鸿升。

单飞比较红的自嘲，令人发笑，也令人思考。这条路不能走，一定会有另一条路给你走。他们就做到了。但愿我也能做得到:)

flared up during one of the tuition lessons cos they were really really very very VERY noisy.then otr students in otr rooms all cant believe i shouted n kp on insisting to my colleagues tt it's anotr teacher tt hv shouted. P quipped,"ms chong very kind, she wun shout at us. is ms S who shouted." otr children chorused.haha...think they still dunno im a devil in angel's disguise.haha...

i guessed i muz b really wearing the same clothes again n again until my students complained,"teacher, y u wear the same clothes everyday?" i answered,"where gt?i very poor ma.u buy clothes for me la." L says,"ok!" haha.innocent kids...
